It'll crank up more and more over next 2 months.

I also think any one we sign will be very under cover of darkness till it's announced.

They won't want another Guehi saga.

Yeah no doubt things will ramp up as we get through the last 2 games and move into the Silly Season.

Well that was the way it went with three of the best signings ever, Isak, Tonali, and BIG JOE.

Bet we sign a player or two not on this list.

DCL on a free with reasonable wages could be the Wilson replacement. Won't play much anyway - would prefer not to touch him to be honest. I'd also like a young gun CF.

Quansah can fk off. Fair few of these are good shouts for what we want.

The best business is done quietly.

We are all excited to see Mitchell flex his muscle in the market.

Would be awesome to get Jonathan David on Free. To enable us to focus our finances else where.

Looks we have a decent chance of actually landing Guehi this summer for a decent price.

Whilst MBuemo is a favourite who has been banded around and linked with us a lot the price seems to be going up and up. At £40-45m it's excellent at £50-55m is the top of what I'd pay. Anything more, we need to look else where for better value.

In the last few weeks the amount has gone from £60m to £70m. That's too much.

If you look at the trends of how we buy. We buy potential that has had an off season. Isak's season before he joined us was a bit of a flat.

Takefusa Kubo has experienced a similar season this year as Sociedad have under-preformed and they're in financial strife, needing money.

MBuemo is 2 yrs older and valued considerably more expensive. The African cup of nations is always a major concern, I have always been frustrated at losing players midseason for a month.

My preference is to avoid signing African players. Kubo being Japanese we don't face those issues with him.

Good points on Mbuemo Raga - I think, personally, I would pay up to ?60 million for me. However, I suspect the club will follow your thought process.
