Nope, not good enough. Major rebuild if they do somehow squeak through though.

My girlfriend said I shouldn't bother going next Saturday to play off match against Wimbledon

As Notts are rubbish and will lose anyway and it will be a waste of money lol

I must be a glutton for punishment as I said I'm going anyway and they will win - because that wat Notts do

I think a highly talented group of players have had their enjoyment of playing completely neutralised by the bland, ineffective, lifeless way they have been trained to play.

I think they all need to go on holiday and forget about football whilst they recharge themselves physically and mentally.

Hopefully when they return they have a proper management team with fresh ideas to impress.

The club is soulless and that isn?t a good indicator of a promotion season.

We will bow out to Wimbledon 6-2 on aggregate.

Never in a month of Sundays.

I sincerely hope I am wrong.

If Notts get past Wimbledon (close to 50/50 I reckon, as bad as we've been lately), I wouldn't expect us to have much chance in the final. Chesterfield are the form team by some distance whilst Walsall have finally ended their winless streak and if they get past Chesterfield (which would mean they win another game or two) they'll have a new lease of life. To lose to Walsall in the play offs again would be seriously sickening for those of us who lived through 1988 (the 1-3 home SF defeat was the worst day of my life as a football fan), but the Spireites are the more likely final opponents and they will no doubt be doubly determined to ensure they have the last laugh, should they be facing us.

If we were heading into them in form I'd say yes. Unfortunately we're in the worst form of all the teams involved so it's No from me.

It'll either be a repeat of MK Dons' experience last year against Crawley, or we'll be embarrassed at Wembley by Chesterfield. And if SM is still in charge by the end of an inevitably disappointing play-off campaign, we'll be in massive trouble next season.

No chance. We need to rebuild for next season with a complete new coaching staff, also a couple of midfield players who can win their battles. It would be good too if we could sign Paul Mullins and bring Macca Back

I'd say we have a 25% chance of promotion. Fingers crossed for some luck and a huge boost in on-field energy and commitment.
