We should sell Gordon now while his stock is high. If we could get 80m a off Liverpool for him that on top of the money we already have to spend, we should able to bring in 5-6 players to fight and play in the first team.

Not for me. I'd sell Barnes first.
...and he's worth way more than 80 IMO.His form has dropped off along with inuries and that suspension.
He's a 100 million player at least. Compare Rice and Caicedo 106 snd 100 respectively and they are defensive midfielders. Theres a premium on attack minded players too.
Chill McPhoney.
He hasn?t been great all season, another season like he won?t be wroth anything. The time is now.
Or he'll rediscover the form and be worth double the money.
I have more belief that he'll rediscover his form of last season, rather than last season being a flash in the pan.
I'd agree with Sclox - not sell.
Agree he's had a poor season but he's quality and will regain his form, I'm sure of it.
May even be that us wanting to sell him to Liverpool because of PSR-if, indeed, those rumours were true, got into his head at the beginning of the season when he definitely had a slow start.
What I can guarantee won't fucking help him are those fans posting pictures of him as Clare Balding on social media. OUR fans, man.
What on earth is he going to make of that? And he will see it. It'll be the same whoppers with the patience of a toddler who wanted Eddie out after a few iffy games.
Mind boggling.
And this isn't a dig at you, Phoney. There's a discussion to be had like this about every player at some point. My view is that we're not at that point yet.
Yes. Our squad is so deep we should be off loading our best players.
I haven?t seen any of the Clare Balding stuff I don?t know what that that?s all about but I?m not sure if Gordon is a great player or just a good player that had a great run. Next season he could be worth as much as Wilock is worth now.
That's a fair question. I think he has the potential to be a great player if he can be more consistent (as in, he has great player ability-as opposed to just being a good player-but we haven't seen it often enough this season).
For me, he's one of our best players and one we should be building a squad around (along with Isak, Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Botman, Hall and Livramento)
Its keep Gordon for me. Hes had a mediocre season. But was good before the suspension and the injury. When in form hes one of the best left wingers in the league.
