Hammy's called him out for not signing now he's going.
Inevitable. A bloody disgrace and a perfect example of why this club is going nowhere with certain levels of 'management' above the manager.
Okay.....just me typing at super speed while prepping the tea so just used a few words to make the announcement.
Top and bottom of it though is time has run out for Hakeem so....Hammy informed him that he had to start looking elsewhere for his replacement and thanked him immensely.....that any better?

"Called him out?" Where have you got that from Brin?
Hamshaw has paid him nothing but a glowing tribute according to the official club statement.
Wouldn't surprise me if we see him holding a blue and white striped shirt up tomorrow. I think something similar is going on with Humphreys and they might be drip feeding us the bad news.
It's disappointing but if he "wants away" that's what he wants. Money would have talked though.
Never mind. Let's enjoy paying more to watch. Not.
Tigerish, he will be a player well in demand more so because he's a 'free' signing. That's the way of the football world these days with players running their contracts down. Take Trent Alexander -Arnold in a place 'Liverpool' where he could have been a player for life but, he too run his contract down in order to gain a lavish signing on fee with Real plus a super bumper wage packet attached to it.
We have though in the past on more than one occasion fiddled while Rome burned with our players contracts. Ollie Rathbone for instance, willing to have signed a new deal before he left, way back in November of 2024 but was told hang on so he hung on. Fast forward 3 months and still no deal so he too thought 'I'm off then'.
It's not always though been our players holding the club off testing the water elsewhere so to speak, there have been massive blunders 'upstairs' but no one is ever held to account for them seeing how the club is autocratically run.
