Who ever thought we'd ever be grateful

to Manure of all clubs for winning a game decisively to save us having egg on our faces.

Back to chuckling at them tomorrow though - only just getting over the 40 point mark.

And a former mackem player for getting the goal that put us in the CL.
Villa fans must be spitting blood over the disallowed goal but it was all caused by Martinez. Glad about that coz hes a cocky b*stard.

It was short lived. My mate and I were messaging. He flicked over to the Man U match to watch the penalty.

He said he shouted with joy when it went in... Then immediately realised what he was doing, felt dirty hahaha

    It is what it is.

Well done lads, a really good season for both clubs a bit soured yesterday by the ref but our performance was abysmal for beginning to end and inexcusable after 9-days rest, we got what we deserved. I think we have played almost 60 games and have been on a brilliant run since losing away at Palace in January - we will most likely see a few high profile players leave now with PSR & the implications of ?100M less revenue but that's football.

We'll probably lose in the Europa final to Palace - good luck next season.

I was hoping for wins across the board.

Ideally Villa & Forest join Us with City and Chelsea misssing out.

    Sadly not to be.

You'll run away with the Europa next season, no matter how you do in the league next year.

However, with smart recruitment you could well be in with a title challenge based on your European and league success this season.

I think Forest, Villa and ourselves all shat the bed to varying degress on the last day. Luckily our GD won through.

I think EL gives you the best chance of a trophy and an extra avenue into the CL outside finishing top 5. Good luck next season and with navigating the PSR. You have had a good season although it may not feel like that right now.

This was exactly the way I was hoping the final games to finish.

You couldn't have guessed the outcomes and the twists and turns.

Really tough luck on Villa and Forest after having a fine season
