    Delap and Cunha

Been reported that Delap is in Manchester having discussions about a move and that Cunha is a done deal.

To be honest, I can see both of these happening, however, I'm not to fussed:

Cunha - Would certainly add some quality but I don't think his attitude is right for an Eddie Howe team to be honest.

Delap - I'd love to get him, really think he'd add some quality to our front line as well as different kind of striker, however, if the rumours on how much he wants as wages are true, I wouldn't be surprised if we're not going for it. Would love us to got for him on a decent wage not the insane rumour wage though.

I just hope that we're being as quick with our potential deals as well.

Totally agree, Jammy. Cunha'a a really good player but an absolute twat-definitely not an Eddie-type player.

Delap would be great but, if the reported figures are true, he's taking the piss after one decent season.

What's scary is that there's likely to be a Champions League qualification list and a Europa League qualification list. The difference will be pivotal.

That is going to be a huge difference when the window opens. It's going to be on the minds of a lot of players who are anticipating a transfer.

Didn't Cunha get a long ban for going absolutely Radge and choking someone on the pitch? Good player, versatile but I wasn't convinced he was what we were looking for or wanted TBH. Will he be for the filth? Probably but then any of us are better than their current squad. Anyone who can kick a ball is an upgrade. Fact is there issues are systemic and I don't see a few players changing that, the fans hate the owners, they can't change that. The fans expect to return to the dominance of the Fergi years, not gonna happen, Amorim will be ousted in 12-18 months if he's there beyond the summer.

Delap. What to say? Big money claims. I've not seen any figures but at 22 he should be focusing on his football not his bank balance.

12 goals in 33 games this season is a great return. I wonder if that red shirt is gonna be heavy on his shoulders as it is on Rasmus H?jlund's who scored 9 in 32 in Italy before moving to the swamp. H?jlund has scored 14 in 61 since joining the filth.

A lot of pressure and expectation from a the most entitled, arrogant, disrespectful, impatient set of scumbags/fans on the planet. Delap is good enough but time will tell.

I don't even know what kind of striker fits Amorim's system as I've never really see his teams play. Such is the level of disinterest I have in the man or the club.

Moreover, I don't really care who they sign, the dynamic has shifted, we beat them now, we take 3 points at Old Trafford. The Don't take points from us. We don't fear them any more.

Also, Silver-lining, I guess, if rumours are true, Should they sign these two it's a real doubt they'll chase Jonathon David, which means we've potentially one less competitor for the Canadian's signature.

I think David is the ideal striker Signing to compete with Isak and help develop Osula. Delap, 22 more established yes, but still a sort of development player.

LB the City fan was talking about their situation regarding recruitment. They have signed the Bob's, Akanji's etc and that strategy hasn't seen them grow into like-for-like quality with their first team. The drop off is from Champions to level with us. Huge from their point of view.

He made the point that they need to sign players at the top of their game to compete for the title next year. This is where the filth are too. However, they're not doing that. Delap isn't, unless he shocks everyone, going to make up the different of a -14 goal difference to Liverpool's +45 GD nor Cunha, the pair of them or Even if they get Mbuemo as the 3rd recruit.

Listening to filth fans, in comparison to someone like LB you really understand the psychology and mentality of those lot. The filth fans had it so good for so long whilst Fergi was in charge that they will never accept anything less.

The band James' 1990 hit 'Sit Down' has a great line in it.

Unachievable in a Premier League where teams from 1-10 can, on their day beat anyone, as proven by so many results this past season. Long may it continue.

Apparently NUFC are set for face-to-face-talks with Delap...

I highly doubt it will convince him to sign for us, with the filth falling over themselves to offer him offensive amounts of money per week just make sure they don't look like abject failures, it's gonna be pretty much a fools errand but let's see how persuasive Senor Mitchell is.

I'd love us to get him but as you say, compared to the money Manure will offer I think we'd come 2nd.

Depends if he wants money or time to grow etc.

Jonathan David is apperently a top target for Napoli who are convinced they can get him.

Cunha did get a long ban, twice this season for losing his temper at things.
