    This Club World Cup thingy

I would like to apologise first for tarnishing this message board with by bringing up such an irrelevant subject - should it be labelled as OT

    Empty stadiums
    Mismatched fixtures
    Pros vs Amateurs

Its like putting champions league teams in the FA cup qualifying rounds

    Absolutely pathetic!

It?s just FIFA trying to get a slice of the UEFA pie in the guise of a world competition.

There is so much disparity between the quality of the teams it?s never going to be truly competitive outside of the competition between European clubs - and we have that already.

All this is doing is stroking the ego of Infantino and lining the pockets of the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern.

Fans aren?t turning up, which considering it?s the World Cup that matters is over there next season is a big concern. The only reason the European clubs are even entertaining it in this format is because of the money involved.

Surely the sponsors are going to look at this and realise it?s just not worth it - it will end up being sponsored by Carabao next time round

    Call it what is

The FIFA globetrotters - an exhibition rather than a true competition

Aye, soley a money maker for certain clubs.

I think come World Cup, you'll see the crowds.

Remember when we played Chelsea a couple of years ago - that was in the Chelsea game stadium and we filled it.
