    Fullham Closed Doors

See Fullham beat us 4-1 in closed doors friendly today.
In my opinion Fullhan are a pretty decent outfit and I dint read all that much into that result
One thing that does bother me is that the new boy Yengi scored our goal
Hope to fk that goal does not make thelin think he does not need to sign a real striker 🤦*♂️

    sACK tHELIN

He kens fit he's doing min, dinna worry on the player front.

He never spoke much shyte during our winless run and he kept underplaying things during the winning run.

He also won us the cup.

Have faith in Jimmy T and the recruitment team to get the right players.

How do you know that Yengi isn't a real striker? Doubt if many on here were cock-a-hoop when we signed Miovski from a Hungarian team who'd just been relegated. Give the boy a chance, ffs as you'd say.

It seems strange that they went all the way to London for a closed-doors kick about with Fulham.

I dunno - chance to play a premier league team, and pick up a local CB on loan in the sales on Oxford Street? Seems like a productive trip.

I have a feeling this Yengi guy is going to get a hard time from some of our supporters.

Hopefully he doesnt and scores plenty of goals to prove the doubters wrong.

I do agree that we need at least one more striker in. Yengi and Sokler have both had injury issues in the past which would only leave us with Ambrose, I would imagine Bavidge will get put out on loan again.

Just to be clear. I was not and am not having a go at Yengi ( admittedly i could have worded the post better)
I am actually chuffed he scored our goal and got himself off the mark. (Pressure and all that) well done min.
I was merely suggesting that I hope his goal does not suggest to Jimmy and his team that we can rely on him 100% to deliver as our main number 9
I think we still need to get a REAL number 9 striker onboard ASAP.

    I wasnt meaning you bus.

I was talking about the supporters in general who like to give certain players a hard time.

Theres a few of them who sit around me in the rds and I can just tell they are going to be on his back the first chance they get.

I think he may well be the target of the boo boys too.

I saw him up and Cove last week and commented on him having issues with his fitness if not playing games or having an injury. He is a fair sized unit and I believe that type of player usually get a hard time when the team is on a bad run.

To be fair if it's not going to be him, some other poor sap will be getting it. It is the nature of fitba.

ThatÂ’s the pressure of playing for Aberdeen. Let us see if any of these new signings can handle it.
I cannot say I am overly impressed by our transfer window so far. The players we sign will need to be a big improvement on the team.
We definitely need more strikers. If a miss firing striker from a smaller club in the south of England was our number one target then I would be very surprised.
