Who's your ups and downs for league 1 next season?

As clubs in League 1 start to fill their rota of players for the coming season, some are investing well in order to strengthen their sides.

I see that Stockport County have broken their transfer record to sign Peterborough United striker Malik Mothersille for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal. He played very well against us last season in the 3-3 draw at Posh. Always a a handful. A very astute acquisition. The 21-year-old Jamaica international scored 16 goals in 57 appearances last season.

The Hatters have not confirmed the exact fee other than it eclipses the ?800,000 they paid Nottingham Forest for Ian Moore in 1998, interesting.

Luton have won the race to sign the upcoming wonder kid midfielder Jake Richards following the expiry of his academy deal at Exeter City.

Cardiff with their new Manager look to be going down the route similar to Hamshaw as they sign a raft of very young players. Youngster Isaac Jefferies has signed a new contract with the League One club, while the Bluebirds have added three new recruits to their under-21 squad.

Winger Jefferies, 20, made his first-team debut in the EFL Cup defeat to Southampton last September having been at the club since he was aged eight.

They have also added right-back Charlie O'Brien, centre-back Gabriel Keita and midfielder Matthew Apter to their under-21 ranks.

O'Brien, 20, arrives at Cardiff having previously played for League of Ireland side Cobh Ramblers.

Keita, 18, joins having previously been on the books at Norwich City while 19-year-old Apter moves to Wales after leaving Everton.

Plymouth have bagged midfielder Weirdu and the list goes on with the rest of them.

For me Reading, Stockport, Wycombe, Plymouth and Luton should be up or around the top come the end of the season, maybe Bolton as an outsider.

For the drop I'll stick my neck out and say anyone from Northampton, Mansfield, Bradford, Wimbledon, Wigan and Rotherham with the way our recruiting is going.

Obviously it will all fine tune and give a clearer picture come next January.

Blackpool and Plymouth automatics. Wigan will do far better than you think. The Millers will be top 10.

Plymouth will walk away with it - Stockport Blackpool and Bolton should do well. Wycombe Luton Reading also. Port Vale the dark horse. We?ll see better football but just need to stay out of the relegation zone

Top three,Plymouth, Luton & Stockport. Three relegated Northampton, Wimbledon & Bradford. We have not got to give easy points away at NYS.

Want us to be top ten but see us fighting the drop . I think there’s a lot of apathy amongst the fans and I wonder what the players are thinking regarding recruitment with the new season getting closer.

Luton and Wycombe won't be in the top 6. I go as far as saying Luton will be floating around just about e the bottom 4..
Cardiff Huddersfield Blackpool. Plymouth and champions will be Stockport.

Relegation Ive already mentioned Luton flirting around their. Wimbledon Peterborough Leyton Orient and Burton make it 4 from 5
