    Ampadu

Think he has been great for us but if we sign Stach where does he play as he realistically going to get in either the midfield or the defence?

    Thought the same.

we are stocking up on some positions we have a little depth on but still haven't really adressed striker and keeper.

His overrated, his ok, but nothing special. The Premier League will find him out. A lot of our championship players we will find out are not for the league f me, Aaronson, why they didn't get rid. Piroe will be taken to the cleaners. Gruev no, James, everyone raves about him, but proven in the Premier League, his not the same. Anyway, it's a positive that we have fixed the defence and midfield, provided they are all good. All the strikers we are linked with hardly have set their leagues on fire, most of them not scoring more than 10 goals.
Spaldy Keeper is the least of our worries. Darlow will be ok more faith than Meslier, and Carins is a good experience backup.

Saw on the interwebs that Kyle Walker Peters is back on market. Leeds, of course, is mentioned as a suitor.

Hop, going to hijack the thread and ask... Farke does not seem to rotate his squad volantarily. Normally I'd say that it's great to have competition for every spot but his past history, like MB's, is that once a player has a spot it's his until he's injured or calamitously bad (Meslier). Why bulk up the squad if it's fixed unless injury. Why would any player come if they thought the bench was waiting for them.

Hey Spaldy no probs and was thinking along similar lines.

For all of his achievements last year there was always a feeling that at times the team was achieving despite Farke.

He achieved some stellar results but in a league that is getting weaker due to PSR.

His three faults for me that I worry about

    1. Lack of squad rotation/making subs ensuring that squad members get minutes.

    2. Not wanting dissenting voices about the team or style of play.

    3. Seemingly regularly falling out with younger players often to the point of no return.

I hope the board read him the riot act and made clear that he needs to look at himself and grow and improve too.

I hope he goes well in the PL but at times I feel the system comes above all other considerations including those mentioned above.

If we buy him a deep squad then he better learn to use it all - history doesn?t suggest he will. I?m
keeping my fingers crossed for him and the team but his previous experience in the top leagues doesn?t fill me with massive amounts of confidence.

Interesting how many academy players moved on including ones we wanted to keep.

Spaldy, the only answer to your last sentence would have to be that the ones coming in are likely starters...and the ones already here will be the backups. And given the money forked out for them, you'd like to think that is the case! So maybe the incomings see it easier at Leeds to hold down a permanent spot than elsewhere....maybe??

When you buy someone, then they must be better than what we have.
At the minute, we’re all googling to see if this is the case.

Its a bit like groundhog day ...or month every closed season, everyone moaning about the lack of new players arriving, getting twisted out of shape because others seem to be quicker and smarter in the window than we are, and generally showing the patience of toddlers.
The last two summer windows to this point have been carbon copies, but by the time the windows have closed in both Farkes two seasons we have seen players leave and late additions that where better comi9ng in...all without breaking the bank.
I'm quite happy with what I am seeing so far, seems to be adding physicality and depth, and as we all know the target is to come about 15th unlike the last two seasons when the target was to come top.

No, actually the point farke doesn?t rotate players has little to do with bitching and moaning.

You also assume Stach, Paxio, and some others will be brought in. We have difficulty in getting deals finalized

However, I do agree with you on their skill and professional approach to conducting business. Totally different than Orta

In fairness to Orta, he didn't have billionaires behind him, just want to be one. Orta wasn't allowed to get quality, so was forced to look for fish and chips.
