    Matchday Thread: Derby v Leeds

    Any predictions? Any hope?

Significant personally as its the first time in 41 years that I'm attending a match with my sister (0-3 v Brighton the weekend after the Plymouth Cup debacle if you're interested), so I'm hoping for a stirring 2-0

    Anyone?

No hope and not that much interest tbh.

Having seen a bit of Leeds on TV recently they seem miles ahead of us. We’ve improved over the last year but, imo, the gap has still widened. Sure the heart will take over the head during the match, but currently my head says I’d much prefer a win against Preston six days later. 1-3 at best.

I guess it dpends upon the side which Leeds put out? if its their second string then we ahve a small chance, but I'm expecting to lose, my prediction 0-2 to Leeeds, we just don't seem to be firing atm, just hope we don't pick up any injuries.

Significantly better than us in every department. Unless they put out their youth team, I'd expect nothing less than a drubbing, especially if we put out a weakened side.
    0-3

I reckon it'll be a comp they will target so I'm expecting a strong side being put out.

If we put our 'best' available side out 1-3 defeat, if we rest a few then 0-4 defeat.

Cups are made for upsets, so I will go for a comfortable 2-0 and then crash out to the winners of Port Vale v Fleetwood in the 4th round

Complete consensus then, our still missing Dutchman apart, though it’d be just like Derby to upset the odds on Sunday only to go out on a dismal February evening at MKD or Port Vale.

P.S. Great minds GP…beat me to it.

Their reserves will be better than ours, 1-4.
