    Cardiff City

Just watching the Cardiff v Chelsea game and quite clearly Chelsea are the quality team BUT what Cardiff have got is a desire not to give up, guts and determination to try and give a good account of themselves - WHICH TEY ARE DOING. It is exactly what our team do not have at all we need someone with insperational powers to drive these qualities into our players who, in the main, are lacklustre etc, etc. I dont expect Cardiff to win but there grit and determination is there for all to see.

Chelsea changed their entire team from Saturday and still won 3 - 1. Quality always counts Lancy, we are a bit short in that department. We are a bit short on wearing our hearts on our sleeves too.

We'll be playing them next season and I will be able to pop down the road and watch.

League One team, who are having a decent season and who have won their last 5 league games, giving it a real go against a Premier League reserve team in order to reach a cup semi-final.
Good effort, however, they came out second best. Would you be happy to say "Well, we gave it our best shot" or would you be disappointed that you had lost? The result is always more important than the performance and Chelsea are through.

Mind you, I do think that Cardiff would beat the Real Madrid third team.

They did, however, come Saturday, they will be playing at Lincoln, who also managed to defeat us in the FA Cup a few seasons ago, whilst we go on a trip to the south coast and struggle against Bournemouth. That's football.
Incidentally, three of the semi-finalists this year are Manchester City, Newcastle United and Chelsea and they will be joined by either Arsenal or Crystal Palace ----I wonder what the common denominator with all these clubs could be?

Well done to Palace. It seems like a well run club that develops talent without having hundreds of millions to spend every season. It also seems to recruit well and has built season by season.
