    Alan Pace

Just a quick note. Noticed recently Mr. Pace has started walking around the perimeter of the pitch before kick off and wondered what that is all about. I wonder if he has started as a result of some supporters beginning to think he is losing interest since his recent acquisition in Spain? I must say the lack of communication does make me wonder.

Perhaps he?s reminding everyone of what he looks like. What?s stopping him sacking Parker ? Any other club at any other level ,would have done it by now, and got someone else in, with more experience and fresh ideas . Why is he delaying the inevitable ? Or is he not bothered about us dropping back to where he came from ?

The biggest financial gains in football are via the Champions League.Pace will see Espanyol as a much easier way of reaching that level with possibly much less financial investment and risk than making a proper go of it in the PL with us.If he throws 100m at Espanyol it could well get the club to that level if they are lucky. That is a level which is impossible in the PL without double or triple that investment with BFC.
If you read Pace`s latest message it suggests that he will be sticking with Cardy and there will not be heavy investment in January to try to rescue the situation rather more of the same.I have no doubt there will be one or two incoming signings but they will likely be token moves to try to silence the critics.
I have said before-I think SP will still be with us come May and even then may be afforded the opportunity to stay.

Another rumour doing the rounds is that Scott Parker is on borrowed time, and that Burnley are looking to the former Wolves manager Rob Edwards

Gary O'Neil not Rob Edwards and I'm not at all sure he's an upgrade on Parker.

If he gets them fitter - plays the best starting 11 and instills the opposite of it?s not my job attitude - I?d give him a go.
