    Danny Imray

Imray came from none league Chelmsford and was a prolific striker at 18. Signed for Crystal Palace who converted him to a RB/RWB. Played the whole season for Bromley last season and this season at Blackpool. Looks lime a decent finisher

That would buck the trend for our recruitment department!

Albion are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Danny Imray from Crystal Palace until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old right-wing-back joins after impressing at Sky Bet League One outfit Blackpool during the first half of the campaign ? scoring twice in 16 appearances.

He returned to Selhurst Park earlier this month and featured in the Eagles' Premier League matchday squads against Sunderland and Chelsea.

Imray joined Palace from Chelmsford City in 2021, before returning to the National League South side on loan in January 2022.

A further loan to Bromley followed last season ? with the Londoner making 43 appearances for the League Two club.

Imray said: ?I want to come here and play games, but, most importantly, I want to play a part in helping this team move forward. I?m going to do everything I can for the team, for the supporters and for the manager to get us up the table and back to where I feel like we belong.

?I?m a full-back, but I love to attack. That?s probably my main strength. I?ll give everything on the pitch. I?m powerful and I like to get forward. Obviously, defending is my job, but I do love to go the other way and I like to get the fans on the edge of their seats.

?In this formation here at Albion, the wing-backs are heavily involved. You have to be involved for the whole game, providing the width, attacking and defending. A lot of managers play with wing-backs these days, including at Crystal Palace. The game is evolving and I?m really looking forward to playing in that system here and learning under the new manager.

?We need to fight and get ourselves out of this situation. At the end of the day, whether we like it or not, we?re at the wrong end of the table and we?ve got an uphill task to get away from it. I?ve watched Albion a lot and I?ve seen the team and we?re good enough to get out of this situation. I?m here to try and help us do that.?

    He must be shocked !
Unfortunately not a good debut according to your namesake at the end of the BBC WM commentary. At least he sees us at our worst.
