30 Local Elections to go Ahead

I see Reform won in their application to Court about the Government wanting to cancel 30 local elections.

Right decision! Starmer will be s hitting himself when these results come in! Just before council tax goes to its highest level - that?s for those who pay it 😭😭😭

It appears Labour have to pay the six figure Reform Legal bill 😭😭. That?s small change compared to the compo given to some of these illegals for breaching their human rights by taking away their phones 😂

What a complete laughing stock Starmer and Co have become!

To be fair, I do understand the argument that, with the organisational changes coming up to reform the present two- tier county/district council system, to have two lots of elections within just 9 months was perhaps an avoidable waste of money. On the other-hand, I totally get the anger at Starmer and Labour for delaying the local elections originally scheduled for May 7th as part of our democratic government process.

Yet again, Starmer and Labour have not only massively mis- read the room and caused yet another totally avoidable furore but have played directly into the hands of Reform while they were at it. No wonder Nige is gloating!

I can't see Labour being able to do much in the meantime to prevent Reform from winning a fair few of these local elections -though given the examples of those councils they won at the last elections, I think people are foolish if they honestly believe that Reform can do much better.
