    Rotherham Titans promoted

Good news on the Rugby Union front.

Following a 36-14 win at Sheffield Tigers last week Roth sealed promotion by winning 40-26 at Billingham today.
Roth finish the season with 25 wins and just the one loss, for a final points tally of 123 points, finishing 2 pts ahead of Leeds.
Roth will play in National 1 (the third tier of National Rugby) next season.

Isn’t it about now that the rugby authorities find something wrong with the ground so Rotherham can’t go up?

Even if they do meet "minimum standards" the winner of the Championship has to beat whoever comes bottom of the Premiership in a play-off to go up.

They have done well, but the league one is not regionalised which will have impact on finances.lets hope RFU has sorted funding out a bit better than in recent years..still think they could have a regionalised north and south league of 10 at league one level.which would help with transition steps for clubs.

On the subject of egg chasing, can a player from the 8th tier of English Rugby make it in the NFL? The odds are against it but good luck to him.
