Photo's of him on the Albion website training yesterday.
All the players have always said Matty is Ist in and last out in trainining, maybe he has been doing just jym work, they must be monitoring his muscles problems .

Haven't read anything about Philips being out through injury but not good if he is considering how many others we won't see for a while and thought he has been pretty good so far to be fair.

On the other hand, the injury list has forced Carlos to involve a lot of the academy players in training with the first team over the international break. Apparently this also included Reyes Cleary who has been out some time with a hamstring injury. Corberan has said he is far from match fit yet and really wants to put him out on loan to develop him but obviously still sees potential in him.

Although limited first team options may have forced him into it, nice to see a manager keen to bring academy players through. He also dropped strong hints about Tom Fellows probably getting more first team game time which could be good as he looks promising. We will probably get some of the injured players back before Christmas-including Dike-but there are a lot of games before then that were need to get points from.

Apparently Phillips is touch and go and they are giving him as long as possible to see if he can make it before officially announcing it...or not.

It’s getting tough for Carlos. Risk versus need.

Can’t wait until we see Carlos Corberran’s West Brom, unfortunately it’s going to be a long time coming with all the restraints, hopefully with a takeover it will be next season
