    West Ham defender Joey O’Brien is hoping to give the club a big boost and return to action in just a few weeks despite suffering a dislocated shoulder against Chelsea.

    O’Brien picked up the injury following a clash with Gary Cahill and was forced to leave the field straight away during the 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.

    Manager Sam Allardyce revealed after the game that he expected the Republic of Ireland international to be ruled out for up to three months.

    But it has emerged that the medical team managed to pop his shoulder straight back in and he felt fine as he left the ground.

    O’Brien will have an X-ray on Thursday to determine the full damage but he hopes to be back in
