    DD's Player Ratings V Bolton

    Never really troubled despite having to make 2 fine, instinctive, saves of the -dive to you-left-at-great-speed variety. Has retained his new found self-assurance yet still looks prone to giving his team mates the odd hospital-pass. Maybe that is his way of retaining his standing in the squad {do this for me and Ia??ll promise not to float one over to you tonight whilst you're not looking}

    Solid enough. A fine rasping drive mid-2nd half which angled narrowly over. A few good-ish balls into the box but not quite up to his best variety (ie the angled whip-cross with side-spin). Gave the ball away a couple of times, the first of which brought a voluminous, echoed, collective groan which bounced and dallied around the iPro and must have made Craig wince like a man at a wedding in his best suit who had just soiled himself.

    Flawless. Some say Bucko has reinforced his ever-bushier beard with some strands of barbed-wire lately and wh

    Not sure everyone will agree with you regarding Kendrick. Gave the ball away far too often. Also, I'm not sure Bryson was at his best. Unlike him I also think he gave the ball away with some poor passes (trying not to be over critical but I am measuring him by his own extremely high standards). Man of the match for me was Dawkins. Worked hard and I don't how he does it but the ball seems to stick to his very fast feet. Finally, my concerns over Wisdom have returned.

    Much appreciated Ella!

    I'm incredibly busy at the minute, and will be up until Friday, so thanks for the cover. A great summary as always, but I must say Bryson for me, gave the ball away too much, although his movement and energy was excellent. Martin MOTM for me.

    I have a very differing opinion of Dawkins - he drives me mad. True, he has quick feet and tidy control but he's got virtually no end product. He does cause opossing full-backs a prob, and means they have to sit deep, but that's the very least I'd expect from a winger.

    Ward and Dawkins in the same side doesn't work for me. Too similar, too frustrating.

    Really want us to try 2 up top soon. We desperately need a 'plan B'

    for the first time ever I think I watched a different game D_D. I thought Bryson had a shocking first half. full of running yes but ballsed up loads of passes. again I didn't think wisdom played well (apart from that great pass you mentioned). ward was lively in the first half but still a bit wasteful and not good in the second half. i thought hendrick had a very 'indifferent' game. some things he did very well but made far too may basic errors. martin I thought was outstanding, especially in the first half.

    our final ball was very poor. hit the first man far too often. to take ward as an example, he looked dangerous in the first half and had a few good runs but so many time his cross was blocked our just in the wrong areas.
