    Attitude towards the Millers...

After listening to various interviews from the gaffer and reading posts from rival team's around us, the opinion seems to be unanimous that "They won't be there come the end of the season" and "they're punching above their weight".

Now I know that Peterborough have been complimentary after we beat them, but that is after we have outplayed them. Maybe the opinion on us will be very different if we beat Wolves and Brentford, and if it doesn't more fool them.

Should we make the playoffs, I'm very confident that we can beat anyone. However with the games we have left to play, is 2nd place really out of sight? I really do hope certain managers will be sharing a very large humble pie come June.

Cornish...do you reckon we are the most hated in this League?

If so I can only put it down to sheer utter jealousy of our progression since the gaffer took over and how he's progressed us as a team...

I don't think we're 'hated' because of our progress or even our stadium/setup but purely down to our manager and his baggage. I believe we were generally well respected until SE took over over but now other fans (particularly those who are competing with us) rarely have a good word for us. He certainly polarizes opinion

I now look at this like I do with the rest of life. Not being liked doesn't bother me, it's not my problem.

How can people say they hate us, not a dirty cheating club like some out there, IMO it's just down to jealousy.

Wait 'til we're on Sky against Bradford and if we're in the play-offs, everyone and his dog that's a neutral will be tweeting and abusing in the pubs willing us to fail. Some Posh fans were still at it after the game saying we celebrated like we won the league etc.

Perhaps they need to understand we are just pleased with the progression as a football club and enjoying winning, not getting cocky about our overall league position. I'm certainly not anyway. Nothing has been achieved yet apart from League One survival.

I'm sure the squad and the gaffer use this 'hatred' as a motivator. Lets not give other fans and teams the satisfaction of laughing at us.

Example of why we've been hammering Bradford recently is due to their focus on Evans rather than trying to beat our 11 players on the field. Long may that continue.

Most teams fans know very little about us so they do what everyone else would do look at our history and come to the conclusion we don't have any! journeymen from the bottom leagues with a good season every ten or so years SO why would they think we are doing anything but punching above our weight? Yes we all know that things are different this time and we are being run correctly but they don't!
At least we hope everything is being run correctly! there is only a handfull of people with the actual figures.

I don't know why folk let it bother them like I say it's their problem, it only becomes your problem if you let it bother you.

Rise above it and enjoy. I'm loving this season.

This was always going to happen after SE was appointed Rotherham manager I remember people
on here slating him when he was in charge at Crawley

Don't expect it to change either or possibly might do when he takes us to the Premiership
His good friend Alex Ferguson wasn't exactly popular but did gain respect
The same thing could happen to SE he's certainly gained my respect
