    Pulis V Allardyce

There's been lots spoken about the similarities between the pair of which there are many but I've noticed two crucial differences following Jarvis's goal the other night.

    1. Pulis's teams will score their fair share of long range Goal of the Month contender efforts where as we rarely if ever attempt a shot from more than 15 yards.

    2. Wingers: Pulis's teams have quick wingers who are given freedom. Just like us Stoke and Palace play counter attacking football from within a straight jacket but when they break they do it quickly. Neither manager seems to place too much importance on possession but the speed of Pulis's counter attack seems to yield far more goals and assists from wide areas so the front 3 all become a threat. We on the other hand seem totally reliant on Carroll and Nolan, the wingers rarely score or assist and opposition full-backs find it easier to get back into position because our counter attack is so slow.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want Pulis but his teams a

The difference is BS only plays one way. Both are set up well defensively, but we can only hoof the ball up.

Pullis uses his wingers for pace and so counter attacks well.

He has slowly developed Palace over the season. They have been improving all the time and are a match for anybody at the moment.

We have had BS for 3 years and haven`t developed one single bit..Same old f*cking **** every bloody week.

Pulis seems to have a plan B and C if things are not working. Allardyce has nethier and barely a plan A

Pulis stands on the touchline barking out orders and giving his players encouragement while Allardyce sits slumped in his chair looking fed up.

Pullis knows that to win games you have to not only score but also push for that 2nd or 3rd. Allardyce asumes if you keep it tight one goal will always be enough.

Pullis has played 2 upfront if needed. Allardyce hardly ever does.

Pullis has gone for it against the top teams. He has at least tried to attack them. Allardyce goes into those games hoping and playing for a 0-0.

Pullis allows his players to shoot from range. Allardyce fines his for doing so even if they score.

Pullis has adapted his style of management and tried to be more forward and modern thinking. Allardyce refuses to change his ways. To arrogent.

Just some of the reasons why Pullis is a better manager imho.

Our club and fans deserve better than both Pullis and Sam

Pulis took a team who spent virtually nothing, who arguably had not one player any other team in the league would covet, who 8 games in we're on their arse, and led them to safety comfortably.

I haven't seen enough to compare - looking forward to the game today - but I doubt any Palace fans care. What a great season for them.

I'd bet they were in most everybody's bottom three, or even bottom one!

It's f.uckin embarrassing when you have to admit that Pulis can provide a better and more entertaining game plan than your own manager...I'm all aboard the BFS out train...(it's only daylight saving that has probably stopped me from boarding earlier... )

the club has spent a lot of money to get us this sh1t, under allardyce's guidance

A? 60,000 weekly for allardyce also

it's like a sick comedy at the supporters expense, it really is

hope majority still enjoying what was clearly always going to be a failed second contract as he was 'spent' of everything in allardyce's locker by then

so clear as day it was/is ridiculous
