    Manager of the Year

On the radio they are talking about manager of the year and who should win it. Seems to be only two peple in the running.

    Tony Pullis and Bredan Rogers.

Who would you go for at of those two or do you think there is someone else more deserving.

For me i have to go for Pullis. The job he has done at Palace is amazing. He joined them beginning of November and they had just 4 points and everyone in the country not only had them as relgation certs but were talking about low points records.

3 games to go and they sit 11th with 43 points. They also play some pretty good football under him. Something most never would have thought possible.

It pains me to say it but Pulis deserves to be in the running. Having said that I've not seen Palace play so can't be objective with regard to their style of play.

But for me it's got to be Rodgers. He has done it without spending shed loads of cash like his closest challengers and, even if he doesn't win the league, he has won a lot of friends with his footballing philosophy.

And I can't help feeling that a certain Ravel Morrison would be a comfortable addition to their squad. The way he has man managed Raheem Sterling suggests he might do a similar job with RM.

Well if I was to take the cynical view, which is unusual for me, I would say. Manager of the year will be Brendan Rodgers if Liverpool win the league and Tony Pulis if they don't.

Got to say they both deserve it and i think as BD says itll go down to whether or not Liverpool win the league. Maybe the real choice should go down to their meeting in two games time.

If Bruce keeps Hull up and wins the cup then he has to be placed above Pulis imo

Pulis, Palace were dead and buried.

    Disagree

He's spent a fair amount and any manager can win the cup in any given year

Keeping that Palace team up so comfortably is an incredible achievement.

Rodgers should win it if Liverpool do it though - when was the last time there was a surprise winner of the premiership?

Not our manager and he's had quite a few of those 'given years' of which you speak.

My choice would be Rodgers as well, I would just rate Bruce ahead of Pulis is what I was saying because survival and a trophy beats survival particularly with an erratic chairman threatening to sell all the time.

To go from 7th position to winning would be remarkable given that they have to compete with mega rich clubs and were missing their best player for the 1st part of the season.
