    It's Time to Dream Folks

absolutely buzzing this morning. can't wait for the big game.

I know I know it's 50/50 and we may lose yada yada. but if we can't dream now then whenever can we??

I got me thinking what if we win. so many questions. most importantly, how much would we spend? who would we sign? where do we need to strengthen? who do we have that's currently good enough? would we compete?

    thoughts?

I'm not going to think about any of those things until after the game if we have won.

Part of me thinks that if we go up then we should reward the core of the side by using them and not bringing in a new swathe of extra players.

OK we may go down but look how much Cardiff spent and where did they finish? What must those players who got them promoted think? Get them up, get replaced by "better players" at great cost, and then immediate relegation.

I would say we need a bit more depth - a lot more depth in defence, but if we can secure the current loanees for next year that would go a long way.

Let the team that goes up test its mettle at the next level

    I'm dreaming.

But then I've been dreaming for months.

I think if we go up we wont spend a fortune but we'll choose wisely, unlike last time.

If we don't go up then I reckon we'll add to the squad in the summer after offloading the fringe players who aren't required. Again, Steve has shown he can pick wisely.

If we go up, I think we'll come down again but we'll give a good account of ourselves and enjoy it. If we don't go up then I think we can be optimistic about next season and actually look forward to giving it a good go again (something I haven't been able to do for some time).

I'd prefer to go up, it would be the perfect end to a great season. But it won't kill me if we miss out.

To be in that situation is a dream in itself.
