How's about this for a scenario. Rangers lose against Derby on a penalty shoot out in the final. Floppy Chops has another of his emotional breakdowns and "retires" again. This time for good. Definitely. Finished. Only to re-emerge next season just a short drive down the road at St Faries, yet another of his spiritual homes.
I think it could work.
