    Who'll Leave?

With players ambition and agents pressure what are the odds on these players leaving:-

    Grant 5/1
    Wisdom 2/1
    Forsyth 20/1
    Buxton 100/1
    Keogh 100/1
    Bryson 1/2
    Thorne 1/5
    Hendrick 5/1
    Ward 50/1
    Martin evens
    Russell 20/1
    Samon 1/4
    Hughes evens
    Bamford 1/6

It will leave some big gaps.

Well Wisdom, Bamford and Thorne have already gone so that's those sorted.

Unless you want odds for them coming back of course. Which they won't, unless it's another loan deal.

I think Sammon will go if someone wants him, if not then obviously he won't. Pretty obvious I know.

One of the midfield 3 will go, money seems to be on Bryson according to insider info on another thread. If he goes then Hendricks and Hughes definitely won't.

Martin will only go if someone offers a lot of cash OR a prem team come calling and he asks to leave. Don't think that'll happen though.

Forsyth, Keogh, Buxton - going nowhere else. Neither is Grant.

Which leaves Russell and Ward. Russell has about 3 years left on his contract I think so he's staying, he also needs an injury free season. Ward is an interesting one - it wouldn't surprise me if we were looking at another wide player option and I think Wards inconsistency and injury prone record might be something that puts him out the team.

    There's Dawki

If we've got players with long contracts I see no reason why they are going to leave unless there are silly money offers. Remember when we wanted Ferre Bode from Swansea? We were in the Premiership but their chairman said no and that was the end of it.
If people are willing to pay handsomely then the players we want to keep will go and we will replace them. How many will want to leave right now though - especially considering what happened to Brayford on his Premier league adventure.

yes my view entirely they can come knocking but its our prerogative I think ward might go along with sammon legzdins and Obrien two Naylor's and barker retire to a coaching job ?

Not the end of the world if we lose these as all are easily replaceable. Roos will step into the back-up keeper role so no need to reinforce there. Lee Naylor going, Parr has been mentioned from Crystal Palace, apparently released recently? O'Brien wouldn't "weaken" our squad this year as I can't even remember if he featured or not, and I think even the most optimistic of us will find it hugely surprising if Barker does return.

Agree with all that but I'd give O'Brien a chance to prove himself.Whether he can after long injury remains to be seen but he has youth on his side. I always thought he showed a lot of promise & maturity the few times he played.be good to keep as cover IMO.

Apart from the loanees ( a couple of whom may well return) only Bryson may go, but I can tell you now it wont be to Celtic.

As for the others well given the length of time left on their contracts it woudl take some serious money in which case Mac would just rebuild.

Hughes wont be going any where this summer deffo!

His tears at the end of the game meant a lot. It shows he's not planning to **** off next season, he doesn't even support Derby, he supports Liverpool, so if had planned to be in the Premier League with a club other than Derby I don't think losing would have meant as much. It would
