    The team spirit lives on!

Driving yesterday my lad pointed out and said "look there's the derby team" and so it was! All together and just leaving a pub and walking along the street together chatting! I had to stop and tell them how proud we were of them and how great they have been this year and gave us everything.Sad I know but I couldn't help it . Saturday was an emotional day. I think they thought who's this nutter as surprise gave way to a lot of smiles and thumbs up especially from Jonny, Chris and Keogh. Granty was looking too cool...There were about ten of them but no sign of Bamford or wisdom. it was great for my lad and you know what it gave me a good feeling about next year.

I'd expect permanent players to be there, was just hoping Thorne was to add to even mounting evidence that he is set to sign for the Rams!

Tweets from Wisdom and Bamford today saying best of luck for next season, what a great bunch of lads, really enjoyed it, great memories and thanks for everything, etc, etc.

Didn't sound like those two were expecting to be back again to be honest.

And I'm sorry but I just can't see George Thorne being here next season. A season long loan is a very vague possibility but if has no place at WBA then there are going to be other prem teams very interested.

    Just can't see it.

When Thorne came to derby I asked a friend who has been a baggies season ticket holder for many years what he was like. He said he had only just got in the side and played only 2/3 games but was keeping Dorrans out of the team and was seen as his replacement before a really bad injury. Said he was a strong unit who tacked well and had great distribution Clarke really rated him.but of course Clarke has gone and Dorrans is back in favour but as you say his performance on Saturday was a real shop window .
I do though think there is a real special team spirit at derby and he may want to give it another year . Although recently resigned a 3 year deal I believe so it's not our choice

My mate works at Walkabout Derby, they all ended up in there, 13 of them, including Thorne.
