Most people have a favourite time of day. Mine is the morning...a brand new day no one has screwed up yet. Some pictures from around my province shot live this morning on webcams updated every ten minutes:
Looking from downtown Vancouver towards the North Shore Mountains while a ferry trundles across on the right!
The tiny island of Pender Harbour and its main dock.
Downtown Vancouver, hotel on left, camera looking north.
Banff National Park, a favourite skiing, hiking, camping area on the Alberta British Columbia Border.
Mt. Robson, highest point in the BC interior, the snow cap lasts all year round.
Tofino, on the Pacific Ocean, a town of about 3,000 with magnificent parks and beaches, the longest beach over

I enjoy visiting that site as well, Wokes; I drop by about once a week.
The pictures I posted above were all taken live and updated every ten minutes. Those were taken from the BC and Yukon Webcam Site between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. today.
As a lad, my sister and I would wake up about 4:30 a.m. and take our dog for a walk; as our town was circled on three sides by railway tracks we were never far from seeing steam engines shuffling back and forth. I decided to post my photos after seeing Prem's steam train photo on this site. - view external link

Fantastic views on there Tundra. I will look in more detail tomorrow as just off to bed now to further recover from a late night at the rub-a dub last night.
The ICAO codes at the bottom opened a whole new can of worms as, from what I can recall, certain defined airspace was designated with ICAO codes.
Always interesting/challenging when they try to change/improve things in life and just end up making our world more complicated and less user friendly!![]()
Evening time in the British summer time for me. Nothing better than getting on a deserted beach after work on a Friday with good mates and fishing knowing it's not going to get dark till at least 10 pm.
Evening time was always special when I was growing up because you could play games like hide-'n-go-seek, after it was dark and not have to worry about school the next day. Still I would be up and out by 4:30 the next morning heading off with my sister and the dog for the train tracks and "adventures!"
Woke up at 4:08 this morning and am up for good at 4:24 a.m...right now.
Don't hear it said much these days but most people used to define themselves as 'morning people' or 'night-people' depending on when they would "come alive!" For me, give me 4.5-6 hrs of sleep and I'm good to go all day!
