Let's not forget Rush was one of the top agents in football, I'd imagine he knows a thing or two about getting the best deal for us. Looks like this could be an interesting transfer saga!

Hopefully will not drag on in the same seedy way as the Ferrie Bodde saga. That did us no favours, but unfortunately, I can see some early similarities. Hopefully, George knows his mind better than Bodde did. I do hope we don't have any 'been house hunting in Derby' stories! The abuse we are getting from Baggieal and others reminds me of all that s hite we took from Swansea Jack and company. Not impressed with all this 'don't mess with Jeremy Peace' bollox. I reckon Sam Rush would have him for supper!

Do hope we sign him though!

I think Rush, or someone to do with Derby said at the same time as saying we're talking to him & West Brom and hope we can do a deal, that nothing is likely to happen until they get a new manager and it'll depend on his assessment of him. It could drag on for god knows how long as they're not in that much of a rush to appoint someone yet by the looks of things.

He's just signed a new 3 year deal and slams an ultimatum like that on the table?

My god, I think my testicles would be in safer hands, in a piranhas mouth than this guys scruples?

I thought P.V Hooijdonk was bad. Now I know this, I hope WBA stick him on the bench for 2 years and tell him to man up.
Also, I'd love to know if this is about money?
Signs a new deal then wants to leave. I think he's dropped a clanger money wise and is pushing for a new cheque.

Read the article in the other thread about it, he claims it was signed 'under duress' as he wouldn't have been allowed out on loan otherwise. West Brom didn't want to lose him for nothing, and with his contract ending this year, if he went out on loan it would have attracted a lot more interest therefore made the possibility of him leaving for free a lot higher. So according to the article, Thorne was told no contract, no loan move.

    It won't be about money, we'll g
