    Chris Burke

    Available having turned down a new contract. Should we be in for him? Always does well against us but he's 29...

    29?? he seems to been around forever.

    he's a good player but I've always thought of his as an out an out winger. not sure if he'd fit the 'wing forward' role we use.

    we could certainly do worse though.

    Rumours have been, that NFFC are interested. Tried to get him before. Think a few will be looking at him. Could be worth a punt for anyone for a couple of years on a free.

    he'd be a steal for anyone using a 4-4-2. I think both derby and forest have chased him in the past.

    Clough suposedly wanted him, dont think his is a position that McClaren ants to spend his wages on on, he wouldnt come cheap even if there is no transfe fee - priorities lie elsewhere first.
