Travel section

Just wondering if we could set up a travel section. Somewhere people who are offering seats on coaches or minibuses to away games. Also where people who were travelling by train could inform other millers of any cheap train tickets they may know of and what trains they are travelling on so they could travel together. I know some train companies give discounts for group travel.

Even though i would be travelling from Worcester i would be more than happy help people out with their travel arrangements from wherever, seen as i am a bit of an anorak !!

This is a good idea. A travel section where all coaches and other travel options were advertised in one place, together with contact details of organisers etc, would be a really helpful thing.

To create a "STICKY" type post would be worthy of consideration, where ad-hoc replies were prevented but all coaches, details & contacts could be entered & updated on a match by match basis.

I'd love someone to organise or set up an away Travel Club. Plenty of Championship sides have their official club travel, sometimes organised by the clubs. The supporters club can only do so much!!

Thought it was a good idea as think this season there will be more demand than ever for tickets and travel to away games.

There Should be coaches running from NYS , plenty of free parking for the ones that like to see the game sober

Well it's up to us...I would be quite willing to be one of a committee (call it what you like really) to approach the club and explore the possibilities of an official travel section using NYS as our departure/arrival point.

Great idea Ludlow would be great a big convoy of coaches departing from new york stadium.

Should we do it then? (Just 2 of us at first but we can expand things later perhaps)
We probably need to meet each other and talk about it.

If we are going to go ahead, we need to approach a coach company re flexibilty of numbers and costs as well as RUFC for departure/arrival consent.
It may be a non starter but we should give it a try.

I can meet you any time, anywhere. If you know someone else who may be able to help, please bring them along. We need to be fairly quick.
