Not the best pull financially...still, the Ryanair flights will be busy if we get through.

No but we would have an actual chance of winning against either - especially if the Estonians hold on to their first leg lead.

All fairly moot if we don't get the finger out in Iceland of course.

We were clearly not very good last night - despite that, we were one wrong refereeing decision from (probably) winning 3-1.

We will need to improve to go through and then need to improve further to win in the next round, but in the same way one good performance does not make us brilliant, one below par performance does not make us horrific.

In the midst of one of the most successful spells in club history, the reaction on here to defeats/bad performances was often completely unrealistic. Writing us off against Stjarnen at this stage seems melodramatic.

That is not one bad defensive performance our defence is rank every week and you cannot afford a defence like that in European football ... You will get away with it in the sh1te that is the Spfl especially when the dross you are up against makes scoring easier, you just do not get that luxury in European football.

You give too much credit to all of European football - we came within a bawhair of getting away with it last night simply because they missed a tonne of chances. And they missed a tonne of chances simply because they, like most of the SPFL, are not very good.

Now we may get away with it next Thursday, we may not. We certainly got away a terrible defence to finish second last season. But suggesting we have no chance is plain silly.

That said, given the number of people on here who were convinced we'd finish fourth with three games to go last season, I dunno why I'm surprised.
