I actually think Barr - if consistently fit - would be a decent, though unspectacular, SPL player for us. However, he hardly seems the solution to any of our current problems.

Going by the twitter reports...Mchugh wasteful in front of goal.Sounds like Thomas had a good game, had a couple good runs taking players on. Same end result.

A strange choice of trialist, and I can't fathom out what he would give us that current players wouldn't. He's not especially good in the air nor is he fast. The thought of him playing in front of Dan brings me out in a cold sweat.

He can play right back but do we need another one? Always had the reputation of playing well for 88 minutes then taking a sudden rush of blood to the head and getting red carded, conceding a daft penalty or causing a calamitous goal.

If we have a little spare cash in the war chest we could do better I'd have thought. Strikes me as being no more than a jersey filler.

No harm to the man - he's had a couple of decent games against us - but, like other posters, I don't see how he would add to the options. I still fret about where we'll be if big John isn't finding the net or gets injured. And meanwhile I see our rivals making some signings which will strengthen them.
I'm a 'Well supporter; I'm always worried. This time I think I really am worried.
