We appear to have appointed Iain King - Sun journalist - as an academy coach according the Twitter post linked below.

After the initial wtf reaction, a look at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Kilbride_F.C.) gives some interesting background on him and what he (with support) did in creating youth systems in East Kilbride.

This is obviously a massive step up - and one which could fail, of course - but fair play to the club for at least trying something beyond the same old, same old approach. - view external link
