    Darlow and Lascelles

The question is will SP now pick them for games.

I think this is a strange one. They're sold now, fair enough, but why do they have to develop at Forest for Newcastle's benefit. They're sold them so they should go.

Personally I think they should sit out on the bench. I want players in the match day squad who WANT to be Forest players for the future.

Yes, I know players want to play at the highest level blah blah blah, I don't give a c**p about that. I say cut them loose now.

So much for the 1/2 billion being reported if we're having to sell two of the most promising English talents in this league for pittance.

SP clearly not happy and not a great start to what was looking a promising season.

    Lansbury next to go.

SP not happy... Chairman getting stuck in though. I wonder who he will pick for Saturday and if SP will agree.
    Just sayin.

To be fair T_R, 7 million for 2 players that cost nothing isn't a pittance, it's a reasonable price for a defender and keeper with only slightly over a season's experience in Tier 2. For sure it could have been more,

Agree about Darlow. Got a season to look for good replacement.
Lascelles. Sit him on the bench. He can cover and lament about his jump ship. He in particular has gone too early. He wasn't even first choice here yet. Does he think he's going to develop on our bench?
Foolish, but I'm not surprised. Half a decent season and they think they're invincible.
When he goes to Newcy, he'll be as rusty as hell and well down the pecking order.
Still, he has a bigger bank balance for now.
    Not our problem anymore.

I just read it's 5 million not 7. Now that's low for the pair. Minimum would have been anything above 6.

But Lascelles was wanted by the top four for a starting bid of 7mill, how could you get both for five, I'm confused

Show me where that was said please?

There's a difference between wishing and getting.

Like the starting bid of 10 million for Hughes, holding out for 15.
Just remind me again, exactly how many bids and pounds have been waved for Hughes?
