    Higgie arrives at Sheff Utd

The big man joins Jamie at Sheff Utd for 'undisclosed' fee on a 2 year deal.
Let's hope he does well there.

What can we expect from Higdon ? I have a feeling he will be a big favourite with the fans, looks a real handful and character...

He's a good striker, although you might not think so when you see him moving!
Scores goals generally inside the box, left or right foot, good header and takes a good pen.
He'll do well for you in Div 1.

Not the most talented guy to have pulled on the claret and amber however he knows where the goals are. Good luck to him.

from what I've read Sheffield are a team who provide plenty of crosses, the big man will lap that up.

It's a crying shame when the only news on BBC Football Motherwell is about ex well players who are moving.

Get your finger out McCall - we've lost patience !!

Having read your messageboard about how feckin awful your fans thought Murphy was and that's what you should have expected when you sign anyone from the sh1te that is the SPL.

Based on those reasoned views Higdon will be utter p1sh. Though because he didn't come direct to you from the SPL your fans might be less inclined to label him sh1te right away.

Glad you're tarring everyone with the same brush, makes you as narrow minded as the "few" idiots that slated Murphy before he'd had chance to settle.

Higdon appears (from the YouTube clips from the last few seasons) to be exactly the type of striker we've been looking for... A big strong lad up front who knows where the goal is. We've a plethora of mobile attacking midfielders/wingers that will surround him, so he'll not need to be the most agile.

Anyway, have you got anyone else decent up there we can take

I bet we've nearly got as many Scots playing for us as you do these
