    Game day!

At long last the season begins. Same anticipation as ever but a wee bit fearful of today's result.

Let's hope for a decent crowd to cheer the team on to another best of the rest success.

    Come on ye 'Well.

Likewise - looking forward to the new season. Our pre / early season has not gone well but its time to support the team once again.

    re: Game day!

It's great to have the proper football back. None of this World Cup or European nonsense, this is what it's all about for us.

The club have badly let themselves down over the close season in my opinion, both on and off the park with the Stjarnan debacles and the failure to build the squad and not one bit of positive PR to at least give the support something to cling to. As a result the mood is low so for that reason I think it's absolutely ***** that we get a good result today as that would certainly help lift some of the gloom that's been hanging over the club in the last couple of months.

Good luck Motherwell and here's to a new season.

Decent win today, wasn't at the game but the biggest surprise of all was how they managed to keep a clean sheet. Well done all the same.
