    Barker

    Is anyone ITK as to whether he is likely to ever make a comeback? The last I heard he was training again. If not, why not announce his retirement and offer him a coaching role.

    Think of it from Barker's perspective I guess, if he announces retirement then what really is his motivation/goal to get over the injury?

    Yes I understand that, but surely by now, both he and the club medical staff should have a clear idea as to whether he will ever play again.

    Steve Mac said last week he couln't see him ever playing at the same level again. Read into that what you want.
