    If Thorne was fit...

...would people agree our squad is now stronger than it was at the end of last year?

A debate in pre-season was that with the loans having left, we were weaker than we were in the play-off final.

    Now we find ourselves with:

Goalkeeping situation the same, just Roos for Legzdins.

Defence we have Whitbread permanently, added Shotton and Christie to replace Wisdom.

Midfield we had Thorne, lets say for arguments sake that this season we don't due to his injury. Replaced with Mascarell.

Attacking wise we have added some promising youngsters i.e Calero as well as replacing Sammon for Best and Bamford with Ibe, who in my opinion, albeit based on the very little footage I've seen of Ibe, he seems better than Bamford in the position we plan to use him.

I think had Thorne been fit, our squad overall is now deeper and stronger than the one we had against QPR in May.

the 'squad' is definitely stronger. the starting 11 including thorne would probably be on a par. shotton is mustard at this level and Christine has looked very good too so either of those at right back have looked as good as wisdom so far. bamford wasn't starting towards the end of the season and I haven't seen enough of ibe to comment. if he's as good as people on here say he is he could be an improvement. that's it really. everything else is the same due to SR signing our best assets up to long term contracts

it's only thorne's position where we're not as strong.

I know it's early days but I fancy us to finish top 6 with and outside chance of top 2. we'd have a decent shout of the play offs if thorne comes back towards the end of the season as expected.

Definitely stronger overall, especially up front. We now have Best instead of Sammon which is a step up, we also have Calero, Santos, Ibe, Russell, Ward, Dawkins all capable of playing in the first team in my opinion.

We have also gone from having one decent centre back in Keogh, to having four in the form of Keogh, Buxton (who is a different player under McClaren) Whitbread (who was injured for the most of the season) and now Shotton.

Our midfield still goes missing far to often for my liking, but you can't fault the individual quality we have in there.

Another one with a head like a horse is our Christine.

Christine Bleakley es conveniente. Ella tiene senos perfectos y un rostro equino encantadora. Hermosa.
