How our defense is deemed to be good enough for league 1 is beyond me. They were absolutely shocking last night. Our Best defender was Audel (who only played second half) which was purely because he was having to cover for tugboat Dugdale.

Audel has done himself a lot of good with his performance last night but we need a lot more at the back than one player. As has been done to death elsewhere, we were poor last season and we haven't brought anyone in to make us better. Maybe we could get the unemployed ex-Stoke manager to work with us for a couple of weeks before the Vale game, his sides could defend.

Yes but firstly you need players that have the right skills first otherwise no manager can win games on that basis.
