    Davis out...is not the answer

I think that getting rid of Davis is not the answer for a number of reasons
Number one. Who will replace him?
Number two. He did get us promoted won the JPT and kept us up last season.
Number 3. Our budget has been cut again this year.
Number four. If the chairman released some money and Davis got the money he needed ( im not talking loads) then he would bring in the right players.

From watching Davis' interview after the game he is clearly shaken by the fans yesterday. That fan chanting Davis out should have been banned. Fair enough saying it a few times but for over 20 mins? Really?? An interesting quote from the interview is
"I’m stuck for words. If I can get the backing and get some players in then I’m going to do that because they need some help and we’ll struggle with that group"
The part where he says if I can get the backing I will bring some players in. Is this a direct dig at the board? He could mean backing from the fans or he could mean backing from the board, as in mone

Well with people calling for Davis to be sacked when it isn't his fault it needs bringing up again!

As I said in my previous comments, I agree with a number of your points. I too don't think he gets the full backing of the board, although we don't really know the full story. However, both he and the players (together with senior management) need to be aware that they too must shoulder a certain amount of responsibility for our fall from grace. I actually don't think it is time (not yet, anyway) for SD to be sacked.

As I said, how can the manager be blamed for kids that are not much good and have to be played come what may?

Thordasson knew that but was sacked because Dario disagreed and had to be locked out of the dressing room. The players were on Dario's side and being DG was a Director as well, he had to go. He too got manager of the month for a great run of results you will recall.

SD has managed teams for quite a long time now and he will know exactly what's needed to bring in results but the board won't give him the money. He must be more frustrated than we are. And trying to motivate a bunch of prima donnas thinking of their next move is next to impossible.

I said Tootal was a goodish full back some time ago but nothing special where clubs will pay decent money. The club bagged him up just like they have Clayton but that's what they do. And then its all doom and gloom when they don't get the move or someone else does.

Its the failure of an academy structure that needs to concentrate

SD has to do it the Gradi way or he will be on the Highway like Gudgen he must know in his own mind its a lost cause, and like Ryan said in his interview he was trying carefully to let the cat out of the bag BUT he is Employed by the club so he has to be careful or he will be on the highway. There is only one solution get rid of DG and his Baby.

Someone else told me the same thing today and so that seems a reasonable assumption.

A subtle hint to us frustrated fans I reckon ;-)
