Yes, he was a very good player, but as a TV pundit he's a bit like the court jester.

Harvey has youth on his side, what's your excuse. Can't be the Lambrini you almost make sense. Merson was not a bad player in his time, but one of many ex Arsenal players who had addictive issues while playing for them, and still appears to show they are still prevalent today.
