I make it that our midfield will lose 15% of it's cohesive fluidity if he is to be accommodated.
As we are playing Queens Park Rangers, I can hear you ask "How can you tell" and you might be right.

Bad choice but to be honest I don't know the injury list so I could be wrong?
But I would rather play a defender in midfield than Nolan
Bet he gets a hat ruck know
WHU f uck the rest
If Nolan starts at the expense of Downing at the tip of the diamond I will just laugh and laugh. Even Sam couldn't be that f.ucking stupid. Oh. Wait.
Nolan will play behind the front two rather than Zarate.
Rob Pritchard, the media officer at WHU, then posted this;
@RobPritchard78: I see one fan site speculating that we carry interviews when we know players are starting. Not true I'm afraid.
This is Sams defining moment of the season. Has he REALLY changed? He has won some over with the football this season, majority are waiting for this scenario to see what he does. If Nolan is back in his usual position and downing gets shunted back then god knows what goes through his head.
This week Sam surely can't have missed everything going around regarding stats with downing ahead of practically everyone for chances, including fabregas.
Pray he starts the same midfield as last week but if noble is fit then play him instead of poyet. I'd rather Jarvis than Nolan. Think he would love this style with our pace. Too often last season he would be away down a wing and the only option was cole who would stand still and Nolan who would wait for the ball to go past him so he could bend over with his legs outstretched as if he gave it 100% effort or he'd keep jogging towards the goalie as if he was slowing down after breaking the world record over 15 yards he just ran to get into the are
I`m not over the moon with Nolan starting tbh.
Since his been out the side,we have played our best football since Sam has been here.Just what our fans wanted to see.
I think his a decent Sub to bring on,but starting is a no no for me,even if we are struggling with injuries.
I'm assuming Mark Noble won't be fit. That being the case, Nolan will start, and as captain.
I agree with everything that's been said about Zarate. The poor b#gger must be wondering why he joined.
Allardyce will have been weighing up formations all week, all of which will have included Nolan in the side, trying to accomodate his lack of pace.
I'm not going to guess the line-up or formation, much less the result, but with our form since the Southampton debacle, all of it based on pressing and pace, anything less than 3 points is not acceptable.
All eyes will be on Nolan, win or lose, and should he keep his place after the international break it will prove once and for all that a dinosaur can't change it's spots and hopefully Sullivan will have the balls to sack him before he replaces Sakho with a finally fit Andy Carroll.
Makes you think when each and every fan prefers the team captain out injured, huh.
Sam will probably "find a spot" for Nolan this game with Noble and Kouyate both out, and I don't like it.
However he usually scores when i make an anti-Nolan post so heres hoping
