    O/T By Myself

A BBC Four programme with Robert Plant talking about his life.

It was on at the weekend, one of the most interesting music programmes I've ever seen.
In fact, I was bloody hypnotised by it all, even if you don't rate the man, I really would try it.
He even talks about Steve Bull on a clip from The One Show

Fascinating stuff from a man who never stays still.

Genius who I happened to meet in The Clarendon in the eighties.

    My mate Bob

If your from the Kidderminster area like myself you probably have a couple of Robert Plant stories as in meeting him.
He is a tall bloke when you come face to face with him as I did on the door at the Market Tavern many moons ago when it was a Kiddy music venue before it got demolished. I think he was a bit pissed off with me cause I charged him and his missis £6 to see a band. He gave me that look, 'Don't you know who I am' but as far as I was concerned he paid like the rest.
However I have heard from other people he can be a nice bloke esp. if you are a Wolves fan and talk football. He's a proper fan.

Have bumped into him a few times.
Myself, Rockchick, MrD and snetterwolf were at the Fulham away match when they rinsed us 5-0. We were banging a rhythm on the back of the stand and from 5 rows in front a chap on his own turned around and said 'I should sample that for a track'. It was the great man himself

Was this the set he performed at Glastonbury? I have downloaded it from BBC4, but have only watched the first 30 minutes as yet. Some tremendous guitar playing, and a huge Wolves flag flying near the front.
