We can't rely on pedestrian intricate passing, especially in that formation. If you want to snatch wins when counter attacking you need pace and due to the choices made with player acquisition we have none. It's getting tiring that we buy in strikers to play (and fail) right wing as we can't find one, we struck lucky with Agard but he obviously wanted to leave. I think he'll do very well in the Championship next year with City. January will be make or break for us, we can't continue doing what we're doing and expect to survive, we're going to need 2,3 or 4 immediate impact players and these don't come cheap especially in January when a lot of desperate managers are doing the same.
Frecks is suffering because he's too deep, we need him Lampard style, that's what he does best. But when there's only Revs in front of him and nothing whatsoever to the left or right other than a deep crossing Skarz or Richardson we are looking very obvious to play against.
