    England fans chant

Can someone please explain why it's not acceptable to sing f**k the IRA. A terrorist organisation who killed British soldiers including the Scott's and British citizens. Yet there in no fuss made about the Scott's booing the national anthem even though they voted against independence meaning that it is also their national anthem as well.

Bit of a naive view that.

Them booing the anthem is very funny given how they voted to stay with us. Makes them look complete muppets.

Us singing about the IRA is horribly outdated and in poor taste that really doesn't help the people of N Ireland.

Shouldn't we have moved on from this by now?

If they were singing F**k sinnfein or Catholics I could understand but the IRA were a terrorist organisation who didn't speak for the vast majority in Northern Ireland. It was also being sung to the Scott's not the Irish .
As for moving on then maybe we should stop celebratining November 5th where we burn an effigy of a catholic called Guy Fawkes

Scots and Irish Catholics not the same thing??? Yeah right. I went out with a girl from Paisley once, in the interests of my own safety I never met her father because I was not Catholic.

Would they have sung this song if the match was played in Ibrox? I doubt it.

Why the need to sing it at all?

Happy to say our players did the business on the pitch. Just a pity we conceded a goal.
