    Thanks Alto

Good to hear big John Trollope's name there. He was an amazing defender. Then I heard the miserable Joe Butlers name lol

Super Don and the amazing Stan Harland too

Was Peter Noble playing in that match for you?

    Good gate it seemed too

Yes but he was miserable when I delivered his papers unlike Trollope who was a gent.

Did you think "when will we ever beat Swindon" Alto?

Swindon played very well in our cup 2 games and the decider at the Hawthorns, I only saw the game at the Turf but remember we found you very difficult to break down, and again a very worthy brilliant win against Arsenal in the final.

Aye you do seem to be our bogey team beating us in another Cup game at your place a few years ago.

Miserable or not, Peter Noble was the best buy we ever got from you Gaz, even better IMO than Charlie Austin, I met Peter Noble in the Kettle Drum pub years ago after his playing days, perhaps he'd changed as he was very talkative and modest, great player even with Alf saying he had knee's like crisp packets he was good for us.
