The Aftermath of a famous victory

What a pleasure to see QoS supporters ,young and old , enjoying this famous win to the hilt . The atmosphere in the Devorgilla, followed on to the Hole In The Wa was something else . It filled me with immense pride watching the self styled Qos ultras ( young team ) during the game . Their constant singing improved the atmosphere no end and reminded me of myself and others 20 or even 30 years ago. We could maybe do with more bodies through the gate but the passion for Queen Of The South still burns bright and it was a pleasure to see this in action tonight . Doonhamers , you are the cream of the crop and long may it continue .

    I Hear Hear JRS !

One of the great nights at Palmerston.

To come home last night and wake up this morning and see our stunning goals ( by Dumfries born lads ) on national television has me glowing wirh pride.

Young Team, as ever, were brilliant and sang their hearts out all night. Whilst the flare made it look like the San Siro it's not the best idea and has happened twice now which could potentially cost the Club.

I would add that I am a huge fan of the Young Team and their enthusiasm for following our team should be encouraged.

Rangers supporter here, just logged in to say well done to QOS on and off the pitch. Your win was perhaps less of a surprise to me than some of you. We were well received in the pubs and the ground genuine banter unlike some places ive been and will certainly come back. Keep getting behind your team like you did last night and there is no reason QOS cannot go up. As for us at somepoint things will improve, big thank you to fellow bears who travelled in numbers despite current form.

The rangers supporters from up the road were cracking guys actually. Met a lot in the pubs of Dumfries after the game and they took all the banter very well. Not the slightest hint of any bother at all and they were a credit to their club.Never thought I would say this but that's the way it was .

Thanks for that Bear and glad, despite the result, you were well received in Dumfries. We have not beaten Rangers at Palmy since 1955 (2 - 1) in front of 16,536 in a game sadly remembered for trouble when bottles, stones and wine tumblers were thrown on to the pitch so Friday was a memorable night for Doonhamers

The whole team were magnificent as were the crowd leading to a memorable experience all around. Unfortunately the truth is out there as we are a very good team with some great youngsters and the scouts will be swarming all over them. Well done to Lord P in enhancing the experience especially with the " Last call for Rangers" with a couple of minutes left. Priceless!!!

Well, well, well! Full house, on the telly and Queens play a blinder. I can recall times where good Queens team have let such opportunities slip, so Friday night was very sweet. Lord P, your a treasure and your fame is on the rise!
"Money's too tight to mention"...a pat on the back is in order.
