    The Uche and Nicky effect

Since the two forwards joined - as well as them netting 4 times between them - we've picked up an impressive 7 points from a possible 12; promotion form.
Steve, get them signed to the end of the season and play offs can be a minimum requirement.

A reality check is needed here.

The Alex will not keep all three. Ajose is the most likely to go for two reasons.

Firstly, given their position in the Championship, Leeds might well want to use him themselves.

And secondly, like Hitchcock last season, he has put himself in the shop window for a loan to a club placed higher, and who would make up more of his wages.

Nicky might well buy into the Alex project, but to keep him, even if possible, would be more costly.

Uche? not the finished article, so no problem. And there wouldn't have been with Mesca last year, though here no doubt it was the Alex who pulled the plug on a future deal.

No, it's Lauri and Uche who will have to try and establish an understanding.

My post was ever so slightly tongue in cheek, you understand.
I was merely cruising on the beautiful, furry, delicate, warm wave that is positivity.

Speaking to Neil Barker, he said the club will do everything in keeping Nicky.

Think you might be 'Barking' up the wrong tree with that one Juninho! but perhaps with a 'Bakers' dozen we could have Nicky, Uche and Lauri on the field at the same time
