    sad day today

    Pearce was a legend as a player ... However, as much as i wanted him to be the same as a manager he has fallen way too short.
    I think he will be gone this time next week ... Thanks for your efforts SP... But we need to do something or else we will be in real danger of a relegation battle.

    Madness.

    You just can't keep firing everyone who doesn't get it right first time!!!

    For gods sake, you have a guy who would walk over hot coals barefoot to bring some success to your club. He's had half a season, isn't it about time you gave someone a couple of full seasons at least without having them looking over their shoulder for the Grim Reeper?

    You're in a slump but that doesn't mean your going to get relegated FFS. Promotion is probably unlikely as it stands at the minute but not out of the question. Just right this season off as a rebuild/settling down phase and treat anything you might get above that at as a bonus.

    As Angry says and in the festive spirit...in the words of John Lennon...All we are saying, give pearce a chance.

    On the other hand it might be more appropriate to sing;

    Easy to say Ramondo if you were slowly building a successful team spending peanuts over a period of years, followed by your team playing free flowing penetrative football, and now actually being a position to AFFORD a £5m player through careful husbandry, although you don't need to because your cheap Norwich

    people at the club in well paid positions who should either do their job or move on.

    Walking on coals is impressive, but the requiremnet of the job is tactical awareness, player improvement, effectice coaching of each section of the team, and the ability to read a game, pick the best team for the job, and win games. Come in Mr Perace, your time is up !!!

    All very good points.

    And in isolation those points are very convincing. But all I see is a club who change the manager as often as some clubs cut the grass.

    And each time the situation either stays as bad or improves briefly before spiralling downwards, or gets worse right from the off. It's a cycle of failure, there are plenty of good managers out there, you're right but if you recall the issues last season - it was heavily rumoured that nobody wanted the job. Mick Mccarthy was there, he attended an interview but turned it down, same with Warnock (who I actually thought would be a good appointment for you at that time).

    And that isn't going to get any easier if you keep firing people. You made your choice, Pearce is no idiot when it comes to football. He knows how to set a team out, you've got to ride out the storms and give your managers a chance at some point.

    Otherwise you'll just get rid of Psycho, then struggle to get a replacement and end up with whoever was desperate eno
