Well looking at my weather cone it says sunny and cloudy for tomorrow, might even get up to 3 degrees (if they are still around !!!)
Mind it has been wrong before
I have just looked on the BBC weather site and it looks bleak for Sunday. I hope that those covers do indeed work over night, because temperatures will not rise above freezing tomorrow. Fog is another concern. Better take our binoculars if the game goes ahead. What we don't want is a postponement to disrupt a confident spell at the Alex, especially considering that we have not got another game for a fortnight.

The problem is that there are so many conflicting forecasts. The BBC site rarely reflects what the TV forecasts after the late news at night.Originally Posted by out0lunch

Yep covers went on today just hope the fog stays away.
Is there a planned pitch inspection in the morning? The fog is the big concern for me. Not a modern phenomenon, although back in the early 70's, I remember a few games at the Alex suffering postponements due to fog.
Should be ok AM, my pine cone says no fog in the afternoon
The ground will probably be fine but it could be the condition of the surround that plays a key factor.
What fog???
Bright sunshine and just "cold" this morning, which suits me fine. Sheffield game is the only one so far to have fallen foul of the weather.Originally Posted by duschko
The BBC weather (on the internet) had got it all completely wrong, as they often do. I wonder why they give a completely different forecast on the BBC News on TV?
Internet says expect fog and freezing temperatures from 5 PM, preceded by "mist". Let us hope it is a red mist that signals an Alex victory.
